In January 2009 I got a good chunk of money from my grandfather's estate. I'm still a long way from buying a house, but I can afford to spend freely now on food and tools, so please don't donate if you're struggling. On the other hand, Stephen King and J.K. Rowling are orders of magnitude richer than me and they still accept payment for their writing. So if you have plenty of money and it feels good for you to give me some, I'll still happily accept it, and spend it carefully.
