If you're considering donating, you should know that I'm better off than the average American. In terms of net worth divided by monthly expenses I'm probably in the top 1% -- although wealth is rarely measured that way. In raw net worth I'm not even in the top 10%, and in annual income I'm below the poverty line, with a 2012 income of $8500. I don't want anyone to donate with the idea that I need the money, but if you want to donate because you appreciate the stuff I write, that would be nice.
